Rating: World-exclusive, World-Famous Whirlpool Overflows with History & Notoriety Rising To Fame Caesars Pocono Resorts and Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains were catapulted into the national spotlight when Life Magazine visited the flagship resort, Cove Haven, and published the photo of the world's first, heart-shaped tub, which was created by the resorts' founder and president/CEO Morris B. Wilkins (retired). From the date of publication in 1971, Cove Haven, and subsequently Paradise Stream, Pocono Palace, and Brookdale, became the world's most famous destinations for honeymooners and was deemed the "The Honeymoon Capital of the World."
While, the heart-shaped tub endures as a signature amenity in many of the suites at Caesars Pocono Resorts nearly 40 years later, the most unique and popular attraction is the 7-foot-tall Champagne Glass Whirlpool Bath for Two. Also created by Wilkins, the patented, world-exclusive whirlpool bath is featured in The Roman Towers Suites at Pocono Palace and The Champagne Towers by Cleopatra Suites at Cove Haven, Paradise Stream, Pocono Palace and Brookdale.

The world-exclusive whirlpool continues to be embraced by well-known TV programs, magazines and newspapers, including: • The Discovery Travel Channel's hour-long, titled program, the "World's Best ... World's Sexiest Destinations for Couples" aired repeatedly in February 2002 and April 2001. The feature began with the #10 destination – Caesars Pocono Resorts in The Poconos, and joined the sexiest destination rankings of Bali, Indonesia; Sedonia, Arizona; Bora Bora, Tahiti; Martha's Vineyard; Venice, Italy; Hawaii; and Paris, France. • As millions of kisses and hugs are exchanged by lovers nationwide in celebration of Valentine's Day, Thurs., Feb. 14, 2002, millions of nightly TV viewers tuned in for CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman, which featured Caesars Pocono Palace, Marshalls Creek, PA. The couples-only resort hosted the TV stage production personality Biff Henderson and his crew for a two-day, on-location taping. The airing included Biff doing his laundry in the 7ft. whirlpool! • Nationally syndicated TV dating show Change of Heart aired a segment on Thurs., Feb. 7, 2002, featuring Caesars Pocono Palace. A second show was taped at Caesars Cove Haven, Lakeville, PA, on Fri., Mar. 1 and Sat., Mar. 2, 2002. The tentative date is May 8, 2002. • Pages of well-known newspapers and magazines also carried features on Caesars Pocono Resorts.
