Rating: Piazza Farms and Greenhouses was established in 1950 in Phillipsburg, NJ. We are currently one of the largest greenhouse growers in Warren County with 17 operational greenhouses which produce vegetable and bedding plants for both retail and wholesale customers. Our retail market on Route 57 opens for the Easter Season on Palm Sunday each year with a variety of Easter flowers including lilies, hyacinths, tulips, and, our specialty, Easter mums. Throughout the Spring we remain open selling all types of flowering bedding plants, both annual and perennial. We specialize in beautiful blooming geraniums of various shades, vibrant impatiens, wax begonias, wave petunias and many others. For Mother's Day we create a gift like no other with our extraordinary selection of hanging plants which include fuschia, geranium, impatiens, and many many more. We also provide a wide variety of vegetable plants for the home gardener. Tomatoes, peppers of all kinds, eggplant,and lettuce are just a few of the healthy selections you will find when you visit. In late June, Piazza Farms adds to their retail market an enormous variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Yes, Piazza's is also a working vegetable farm with over 40 acres of vegetable crops such as peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchini,summer squash, and our famous tomatoes and sweet corn! Piazza's is known throughout the United States for their sweet corn and tomatoes! Customers ship our sweet corn and tomatoes to Maine, Colorado, Florida and even Alaska! People will go to extremes for the fantastic taste of Piazza's homegrown produce! In the Fall, Piazza's continues with a line of fruits and vegetables, incorporating many varieties of local apples, winter squash, gourds, and pumpkins. Halloween decorations abound along with a beautiful selection of magnificent blooming Fall mums. Pre-schools, Elementary Schools, Day Cares, and Troops all come to Piazza's for their hayrides and pumpkin patch parties. Piazza's closes on October 31 each year.
